Summer may be over, but that's no reason to stop eating watermelon... especially if you're a cute Guinea pig!

Two Cats Tuesday: Where There's a Box, There's a Moo

Two Cats Tuesday again already? Yay!

This week we're talking about something very near and dear to Moo's sweet little cow-cat heart -- boxes. I know all cats love boxes, but Moo luuuurves his boxes.

He loves them so much that I don't have the heart to throw them out. Right now, I have a box in each room; they're essentially almost officially furniture. Observe...

Here's Moo when he was working on "adopting" me. He was still outside, camped out on my back porch making his case to come in for good. (He won, of course.) This is Pimp showing him how boxes are done.

Once he got in, he quickly learned that home is where the box is.

This box originally had shoes in it. Than goodness I got those pesky things out of there... they were in his way!

Then we upgraded to better cable, and he helped me install the new box by captaining the box's box. (I still couldn't figure the darn thing out.)

Boxes are also good for being sneaky in. This one came from our friends at World's Best Cat Litter. There was a bag of litter in there... again, good thing I got it out of there ASAP.

Sometimes objects are smaller than they appear -- he gave this box a valiant effort and, I'm proud to say, eventually squeezed himself snugly in.

And sometimes (just sometimes), when there's no box around, a bag will do.

Doggie Scratch 'n Slide

I totally forgot about these kinds of slides until I saw this video... Remember the slides with a bunch of rollers like this?!

Anyway, on to the cuteness! This silly doggie has managed to make multi-tasking a cute thing -- a fun wheeeee! down the slide and a good scratch at the same time. Fun!

More dogs on slides, please.

Dalmation Rides a Bike

As far as I've been able to tell, there are three levels of dog tricks out there:

Basic: sit, stay, shake...
Intermediate: roll over, play dead, fetch me the remote control...
Expert: advanced play dead, working out, and riding a bike...

The pile of piggies would have been cute enough to make the Cute...

But wait! There's more! These crazy oinkers' little ears perk up whenever someone says something. I wonder if they're tapping their feet too...

The Kermie Butt Dance

Since yesterday's Crazy Cat Dance was such a fun hit, I figured we'd follow it up with another little kitty jig.

Kermie here has the funny habit of doing this silly wiggle every time he's done with the litter box. His owners started calling it the "Kermie Butt Dance" and, well, it stuck. (Although I'm sure there's nothing stuck on Kermie's butt anymore... Just sayin.)

How about a dancing elephant next, please!


P.S. I know that butt-dragging can be a sign of worms, but it sounds like Kermie does this really as a way of wiping his little kitty butt! Haha. His owners say they clean the carpet every day. ;)

Crazy Cat Dance

Sage is one crazy kitty. She likes to dance -- but only when no one is watching (we should always dance like no one is watching, right?).

Her owner had to snag this super cute video with the camera over his shoulder... he couldn't "watch" remember? Cute!
