Birdie Serenades his Plushie Friend

What a sweet little cockatiel... I wonder if he thinks his stuffed friend is a real friend. They do look so much alike. Maybe his buddy has just overindulged a little on the bird seed and that's why he's so, well, fluffy?

Two Cats Tuesday: We're Packing!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Whew... it's been a busy couple weeks. We're moving (not too far, just a few miles away), so you know that can get crazy.

I'm pretty sure the only one who actually likes packing is Moo...

Moo, who as you know as an obsession with boxes, must check out every single one.

Then he has to get ON each one, just to check for sturdiness. I guess.

And did you know that boxes make pawsome places to take a nap?

Pimp, however, is not amused. He's moved 5 times with me before so this is old news. What's with that crazy new guy Moo anyway? :)

At first glance, you may thing Gizmo is a pretzel. But you'd be wrong -- Gizmo is just a very flexible contortionist cat.

Conan the kitten has just met his twin -- he just hasn't figured out that it's really him in the mirror yet...

The first meeting is a little rocky, and they don't start off as the best of friends. But as the days go on, I think they really come to love each other!

Two Cats Tuesday: This is MY Spot!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! I'm sure you missed Pimp and Moo -- since Lenox and Diamond were featured for Two Cats last week (they still need a forever home!) -- and they missed you, too!

This week, Moo is going to demonstrate how we get ready for bed, a.k.a. how Moo beats me to the best spot.

Thanks for pulling the comforter down, Mom... I was having a hard time getting to the pillow. This is much more comfortable.

I mean, you did pull it down so that I could get in this awesome spot on your side of the bed, right? *high paw*

This spot is so pawsome! Just look at how I can hug the pillow and streeeeetch out and all.

Kitten Meow Fail

This cute cat has a fabulous meow (or lack thereof)! I don't know if his meower is broken or if this is just how he does it, but it really adds to his cuteness. About halfway through he gets in a pretty good one, and at the end it's like the grande finale meow!

Husky Gives his Deaf Kitty Friend the Sweetest Bath

I struggled with what to title this one because the video is just so sweet, and I couldn't come up with the right words to say just how sweet it is. I smiled the whole time I watched it, all the way to the end.

This is one-year-old Quinn the Siberian Husky and deaf kitten friend, Ollie. The two are great friends and Quinn bathes him every day. Ollie is never hurt... in fact he goes looking for Quinn all the time!

Two Cats Tuesday: The Sweetest Faces You Ever Did See

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Today's is a very special post. I hope someone out there in Cuteland can help!

Today I'd like you to meet Lenox and Diamond. Lenox is blind and Diamond only has one good eye. They are brothers and the bestest friends in the world, and Diamond is basically Lenox's seeing-eye cat.

Both of these sweet babies were adopted as kittens and had the best daddy in the world. He loved them dearly and they adjusted better than anyone could have hoped. But then their daddy lost his job and as a last resort had to move back in with his parents in New York. His mom absolutely refused to take the cats in. He was crushed!!

Luckily, though, the shelter they were adopted from (Animal Aid -- one of Cute's favorites!) offered to take them back in and care for them. He reluctantly took them back and they are in a foster home now -- and have once again adjusted amazingly! They really are quite a pair.

Lenox says hello! Just look how happy he is in his condo. And what a sweet face!

Diamond says hello, too! It's like he's winking at us! He doesn't even know he's missing an eye.

So now Lenox and Diamond are in search of a forever home again. A real forever home. They must go together as they are used to having each other to depend on. Neither one knows they are missing anything, and together they are the dynamic duo!

These babies are too special to not have a mommy and daddy to shower them with love and attention. They need a real home, where they can live the life they deserve. Let's get together and find them one!

Polar Bear Attack!

A friend of mine sent me this and it was instantly one of those "too cute not to share" things. It's a set of four polar bear attack photos. This is what it said:

This took place in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. These are pictures of an actual polar bear attack in Churchill.

These pictures were taken while people were watching and did nothing to stop the attack!

Reports from the local paper say that the victim made a full recovery.

2 Kittens, 1 Cat Bed... Too Much Cute!

Everyone meet Keebler and Hydrox. They're two little foster kitties from the Love and Kisses blog (have I mentioned how much I love that blog?), and they are doing some serious kneading and slurping on their cat bed.

I mean, look at their little paws -- they're going crazy!

Two Cats Tuesday: But Mom... We Already Have FUR Coats!

Baby, it's cold outside, and this is something we're just not used to in Florida. I personally only own a few sweaters (and zero coats), so when it gets chilly for more than a few days in a row, I'm definitely less than prepared.

Pimp and Moo, though, are all set. And not just because they have fur coats... because they have sweaters and leather jackets, too!

So, in honor of the fact that it's going to be in the 30's for the next few nights (yes, this is freezing to us Florida folk), I decided get them in their cold weather gear.

Pimp in his turtleneck sweater. You can see how happy he is that I decided to dig it out of his wardrobe.

A little bit of a side view. Look at that stylish plaid! Pimp is so GQ.

Moo, on the other hand, is more rough and edgy. Check out his leather jacket!

Here he shows off all his zippers, snaps and buckles (and velcro, shhhh...). He's one cool dude!

Jackets and sweaters are cute on kitties, but me, Pimp and Moo think the 30's is just a little too cold for our Florida blood. Can someone send us a couple degrees to warm us up? Thanks!

Helicopter Cat Thwap Attack

It's a bird... it's a plane... it's a cat toy? Sure. Why not?!

All of my cats' toys are officially obscolete -- they need a helicopter to play with! It's like a bug or a bird that you can thwap, but the human controls it. Fun for everyone!

Snow White loves hers so much that she sits and meows at it when it's not moving. Too cute!

This sweet, teeny baby is in such a deep snooze that he's even dreaming! Wonder what he's dreaming about... I hope it's not a little nightmare.
