Rupert went out for a stroll (he walks with swagger, of course) and met the neighbor's cat during his exploring. It seems like he had such a fun day outside!
According to the video, Rubert has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. It's caused by a virus that infected his mother while she was pregnant, and it causes the cerebellum part of the brain to not develop properly. This causes the affected kittens to be clumsier than usual, but it causes them no pain. He's just extra special and extra cute!

I love thim! Tho, I would NOT let him out off leash : (
ReplyDeleteHe moves a lot like our CH cat, who is about 13 years old now.
ReplyDeleteMr Wobble pants is cute. Roger's friend had a cat who's mother had distemper. She walked kind of sideways, but over time knew how to get where she was going. She even caught mice when she accidentally got outside!
ReplyDeletehis "owner/servent" is right with him. the leash tells us, he is never let out without supervision.
ReplyDeleteLove his short waggy tail!
ReplyDeleteToo cute is right. Rupert walks just like our mom, but she has a human disease, not a kitty one. And Rupert's lucky 'cause he can run. She can't. Rupert seems to have an unusually short tail as well. Mom says she wants to hug and kiss him all over for his spunky playfulness and great catitude. ReplyDeletethat made my day after being in the hospital all day.
ReplyDeletethank you
I love him, and I want him to be an inside kitty. Also, I believe he and neighbor kitty will be friends. Sweet little man.....
ReplyDeleteX's
I am sorry, but that is so adorable! Awww, that little awkward walk is so endearing...
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that he is one. This is an amazing family he is lucky to be part of. :) I think he just goes out for "walks" under a lot of supervision. He's so cute!
ReplyDeletevery cute but should be on a leash with that harness or inside for his own safety
ReplyDeleteAwww, he reminds me of my Spaz, who had the same condition. When I took him in for neutering the vet asked me if I had brought him in to be put down. What on earth for? So sometimes when he ran, his back end ran faster than his front in and he'd do a somersault. That was no reason to put him down. He was the only survivor of his litter.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm in love! This was a great video & such a loving family to let him just be a kitty. I'm sure his family cares enough to ensure he is safe at all times.
ReplyDeleteOh that's awesome! Isn't he adorable!
ReplyDeleteRupert Giles Wobblepants is a darling boy! Just love his little wobble and he's a beautiful tabby protecting the area.
