There is among cats of the world: If it fits, I sits. Translated into human, that roughly means that if a cat can get on it, in it or around it, it is fair game for sitting.
Allow Reo here to give us a few visuals to explain. Anywhere the cat wants to sit, the cat can sit -- and make it look extremely comfortable.
P.S. Yesterday's Cute was posted a little late (oopsies!), so if you came by early and missed it, make sure you head on back and check it out here: A Day in the Life of a Fuzzy Kitten.
Kittens have such rough lives, don't they? Sleeping upside down, accidentally rolling off the side of the cushion, playing with toys and shadows, nibbling on laptops and snoozing on keyboards...
In the middle of the hustle and bustle of a major city, it's always a heart-warming sight to see people get together to do good -- like help a family of ducks cross a busy street.
Just yesterday, this adorable family of ducks proudly marched across Pennsylvania Avenue, escorted by a bunch of volunteer crosswalk patrol people. With their help, all the cars stopped and mom and her babies made it safe and sound.
Mango is a chunky orange tabby who is not shy about asking anyone for skritches. In fact, his new best buddy (and best back scratcher!) is Piper, a miniature horse.
In related news, there is a cat that is almost the size of a horse.
Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Pimp and Moo got into a little scuffle the other day. And by "scuffle" I mean neither one of them was willing to get off their lazy butts to properly duke it out.
I hope a burglar never comes in or anything, if this is all the fight they're willing to put up...
And yesterday I promised I'd announce the winners of our two most recent giveaways, so here goes:
The winner of The Tiniest Tiger Hipster Bag giveaway stuffed with cat goodies (the same swag bag the celebs got at the Oscars!) is Shelly! She was comment #33 out of 187 entries! Both Shelly and her kitty are super lucky winners here!
The winner of the whole case of the new Fancy Feast flavor (before it even comes out!) is Amanda and her kitty, Arnold. She was comment #153 out of 167. Arnold apparently only eats Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys -- she calls him "Elegant Arnie" -- so he is going to be one happy kitty!
Concats to both of you -- and thanks to everyone who entered. More pawesome giveaways coming soon!
Kittens are the silliest things. All they need is a few scratchers, a tunnel or two, a dangling puffball and a couple partners in crime... and they can stay busy for hours!
And I could probably stay busy just as long watching them.
NOTE FROM CUTE: Tomorrow I'm going to announce the winners of both the Fancy Feast giveaway and the Tiniest Tiger Hipster Bag giveaway! Should be an exciting day! Oh, and it's Two Cats Tuesday, which is ALWAYS a great day.
Well, this is a sight you don't see every day! I think I've only ever seen koalas in a tree, munching away on eucalyptus leaves, but here is Yabbra running down a hall!
Yabbra spends 22 hours a day sleeping; it's what koalas do. When he's awake, though, he really likes to get some exercise in. Who knew koalas were so cute on the move?!
