People. If this doesn't touch you and bring a tear to your eye, nothing will.
Gracie's daddy has been away at war, and this is her reuniting with him when he gets back. Whoever says animals aren't don't remember, think again! Gracie is SO happy to see her daddy after all this time...
"Have to say it" note from Cute: To those people who give their pets up for whatever reason -- they don't have time, they can't afford it, they have a baby now -- think about this video. Your pet will miss you like crazy. Sure, they may find a new person to love them, but they'll never forget you. Pets are lifetime commitment!
Tank the orange tabby was just chillin' on the windowsill one day, minding his own business. Little did he know that he would have a whole song written about him and his exciting day!
Love this Tank the Cat song. Lyrics posted below the video if you want to sing along. :)
I'm just chillin' here on a sunny day. I got no cares in the world, just want to get away. Run, run, run, I got no time to play. I'm on this window sill that's all I got to say.
Little mousies running all around. But I'm too lazy to jump down there on the ground. Oh this air conditioning right above me. Is all that I need now it's so heavenly.
Ooooh... is that a buggy out there? meowmeowchirp Come on down, buggy. I just wanna play. meowmehmehmerrrow Maybe if I stand up real tall on this... mehmehmeowmeh Or get in this basket that's nice and high... meowmehmeowchirpchirp Or straddle this towel rack and the door ever so carefully (this part is funny!)...
Another amazing (and cute!) animal adoption story...
This time, Princess the Shih Tzu decided to be Skirl the squirrel's mommy, helping her eat and raising her to be big and strong. You see, Skirl (she a girl squirrel) fell out of a tree when she was just a tiny nugget -- and someone brought her to Princess and her human, thinking she might be able to help. And she did!
Usually I have Pimp pick the winner of Cute's giveaways, but today I figured I'd give Moo a shot (since we are giving away CowGoat soaps and Moo is a cow cat, it just made sense).
Moo does an pawesome job of picking the winner of the three yummy soaps from Happy Goats Soap. Watch the video to see who (and how!) he chooses. I have to admit I'm getting a little creative with the winner-picking here...
Take it away, Moo! (And you all scroll down after watching...)
The winner was Caroline -- @macandfuzcat's mommy! Congrats!
Caroline gets one of each of these cute goat milk soaps... or she can pick any of her three most favorite from any in the Happy Goats Shop! (Caroline, check your email for something from me!)
Thanks for entering everyone! If you didn't win, but want to try some of this awesome goat milk soap (I have some in my shower right now and love it!), you can get 15% off your order if you include a Harry the CowGoat soap in your purchase. Yay!
Today I decided to let Pimp have the day all to himself (you'll see Moo tomorrow picking the winner of the Happy Goat Soap contest!).
Ever since Pimp was just a little kitten, he's LOVES the bathroom sink. When I wake up, the first thing he does is run for it. When he wants to be petted, he hops up on the counter and rubs his head on the faucet like crazy. (I always tell him: You love your faucet, don't you, Pimpy?)
The water has to be turned on to juuuuuust the right little stream, or else he just stands there and stares at it. But when it's the perfect, delicious pressure, he dives right in. He usually hates water, but makes and exception for the sink, dunking his head and letting the drips roll of the top. Doesn't he look Scotchguarded in that picture up there? It just beads up!
I must turn it on five times a day for him... at least. I'm pretty sure he hardly drinks out of his water bowls -- for some reason, the bathroom sink is way yummier. Here he his lapping it up (with BONUS extreme close-up!):
Doesn't he kind of look like the other faucet kitty I posted it up a couple days ago?
Make sure you come back tomorrow to see how Moo picks the winner of Cute's latest contest!
