I guess they have to grow into their big-dog voices. But they sure are giving it a good shot (with some help from their people, most of them)!
P.S. Yesterday was an awesome donation day for Santa Paws Drive, but we still have a ways to go. Our goal is $6,000 -- $1,000 for each of our shelters -- and we're just a third of the way there. We only have a few weeks left... Help us make it happen, please!
Cheesecake is a capybara who lives at Rocky Ridge Refuge in North Arkansas. When a littler of doxie puppies was abandoned, she took it upon herself to take them under her paw and keep them company and be their foster mommy!
Aren't we a cute family?
See how they all pose for the camera? Adorable! Now watch them play!
P.S. So... we still need the same leg for our transport this weekend... and one other that I totally forgot about! Eek! If you can help drive, please fill out our form now!
SATURDAY, APRIL 6
Manning, SC to Fayetteville, NC
SUNDAY, APRIL 7
Milford, CT to South Kingstown, RI
OR
South Kingstown, RI to Boston, MA
(We have one person who could do either direction, so we need one of these filled.)
Oh hai. I'm Harry and I need a ride!
Here's Harry (he and his friends are named after Harry Potter characters!). He is a little scared, but getting better. He ended up at the shelter after someone found him. He's still so little, so we know he'll end up being a super cutie once he knows love!
Bandit watches all his big brother and sister pit bulls walking on the treadmill and just knows he can do it, too. How hard can it be, right?
You just hop on and wheeeeee! Oops. Not quite as easy as it looks. He's one determined baby pit bull, though, and doesn't stop trying though!
P.S. The eight cats all made it home after their big transport this weekend! I love happy endings! Thank you to all the Cuteheads who help make this happen through rescuing, fostering, driving and adopting these lucky kitties. I shared a bunch of pictures on our Facebook page and will keep everyone updated on how their doing as I hear. Let's do it again and again and again!
There comes a time in every puppy's life when he needs to learn to go down the stairs. Luckily for this 8-week-old lab baby, he has a big brother to show him the ropes!
Poor baby isn't sure about the steps, but Simon is a good teacher, showing him over and over again how it's done -- and even steadying him along the way when he finally gets the courage to try!
Thanks to our friends at Castaway Critters for sharing this on Facebook!
P.S. We have another transport going on today! A friend of Cute, Gina C., found a starving doxie puppy and took him in. She nursed him back to health, but couldn't keep him... so she found him a forever home -- and asked us if we could help get him there!
Dodger is being driven today from West Palm Beach to Ocala, FL by Cuteheads (and Cute transport super veterans!) Morgen P. and Carol P.! He is leaving around 10 a.m. and he should be home about four or five hours later!
His new mom is super excited, and I can't wait to see pictures of him in his new home!
P.P.S. We have another big road trip transport coming up soon, too! Forever Home Feline Ranch in Springfield, IL (who took in Berger from our #15catroadtrip!) is helping us save six cats from animal control here, and we are going to work to get them there! Stay tuned!
Tebow is a teensy little bulldog who is just learning to take a few steps. He is trying SO hard, you can just tell by all the noises coming out of him.
Keep it up, Tebow! You'll be as big and strong as your namesake in no time.
Full disclosure: I'm a Gator and I think this dog is extra cute because of his name!
Thanks to Cute's Facebook friend, Heidi P., for sharing this cute baby bulldog video!

I have been so happy about food before that I've jumped up and down, but I can't recall ever levitating and flipping right over into my plate like this cute little Boston!
His little legs get so happy and straight and he just dives in head first... and ends up practically doing a handstand in his bowl!
Raffle tickets can still be purchased (for $1,775 of awesome, amazing products) and cash donations can still be made! Every penny goes to our shelters. Let's make this holiday the happiest one ever for all the deserving doggies and kitties there! Please donate if you can!
Buster the cat and all his puppy buddies want in from outside, but the sliding glass door is closed. This would be a problem for almost any other cat, but not Buster!
After several seconds of thinking about it (look at how he cocks his head to the side - so funny!), he finally makes up his mind to take things into his own paws and open that darn door himself.
And then the parade of fuzzy friends waltzes on in!
P.S. Don't forget to nominate your favorite shelter for this year's Santa Paws Drive! Nominations close November 2nd, so do it soon! Santa Paws Drive is a charity drive I started a few years ago where we collect donations and send holiday cheer (toys, treats and cash!), to shelter animals each year. It's my favorite thing to do!
Bentley the bulldog puppy is the fussiest little baby ever! He whines and pouts and paws and throws little temper tantrums and makes puppy dog faces... and is just basically about the most adorable thing ever.
Is there anyone out there who doesn't just want to scoop him up and give him a huge hug?
In love with Bentley? There's good news.
There is a Bentley the Bulldog Puppy is Fussy PART 2!
These two baby pups are still a little wobbly when they walk, but that doesn't mean they can't learn to fetch!
I wonder what goes through a dog's head the first time you teach them to fetch. Do they get confused as to why you're throwing away their toy? And is it even more confusing after they bring it back and you throw it again?
This cat has the patience of a saint. I'm not even sure how he is staying so calm!
It looks like he has a new baby brother puppy, and the puppy has really taken to him. Which is cute, right? Sure... The look on the cat's face says it all. Someone will pay for this!
P.S. Happy Labor Day to all our U.S. friends! Hope you all are having an relaxing, fabulous, wonderful long weekend!
Little Buff the teeny orange kitten has a new foster brother -- a mini black puppy! Little Buff loves him so much that all he does is cuddle him and snuggle him and nibble him.
What we have here is six seconds of complete mayhem. In less time than it takes you to read what I've typed, you could already be trampled by a herd of stampeding corgi puppies.
Come to think of it, it wouldn't be such a bad way to go...
Really, the title says it all. Just two adorable puppies swinging away in on a swingset. The one on the right gets extra bonus cute points for sitting so perfectly with his little legs out and everything.
Wheeeeee!
NOTE FROM CUTE: I'll post tomorrow, but I wanted to just wish everyone who doesn't come by on the holiday a happy and safe 4th of July. Be careful with fireworks and bring your outside pets in if you can! Have fun! P.S. Pimp's birthday is tomorrow!
Dunder the German Shepherd grows up right before our eyes! His owners took pictures of him as he was growing up and put them all together in one time-lapse video.
What a fun idea! Such a fun idea, in fact, that Dunder's video has almost 3 million views (as of today) and they only posted it a week ago!
Dunder has a Facebook page, too. Cute is definitely a fan!
Sometimes humans do silly things to cats, like bring a new puppy into the house. And when that happens, it's very important for the cat to stand up to that yappy new addition and let him know who's house this is.
Allow this fluffy girl to demonstrate how it's done...
