This dog is not allowed on the bed, so his owners set up a camera to see what he does when they're not home.
And you know what he does? He goes to town on that bed. Happiest, most sinfully delicious bed wigglebutt ever. Pure joy. If he was mine, this dog would be allowed on the bed whenever he wanted after seeing this!
This one's been going around for a couple weeks, so you may have seen it already, but I had to put it here on the Cute. I love it!
NOTE FROM CUTE: We're working on a huge kitten transport! We have a couple rescues up north that can take some, and I think we might actually get to save about 20 kittens! How amazing would that be?! I'll keep everyone posted, and be sure to share lots of pictures! Eeeee!
What a good brother this sweet big doggie is! He wants to make sure his new human brother stays warm and is all comfy for bed -- right down to trying to make sure all the wrinkles are out of the blanket so it lies nice and straight on him.
If you haven't seen this wonderful, heart-warming music video from the Wake County SPCA yet, stop everything and watch!
With ABBA in the background (perfectly matched!) and the cutest doggies and kitties ever, and the most excited volunteers, and the best story line -- this is one video that you'll want to share with your friends and watch again.
P.S. Probably want to grab a tissue (or 10) first... Happy happy happy!
What we have here is a bunch of big chicken doggies that are trying to work up the courage to walk past a cat. I guess we know who runs these households...
P.S. This is the LAST WEEK to donate toys and treats to Santa Paws Drive to help make shelter animals holidays merry! Please head on over if you haven't already. And if you can't spare a few dollars, no worries! Please share with your friends. That helps too!
I guess they have to grow into their big-dog voices. But they sure are giving it a good shot (with some help from their people, most of them)!
P.S. Yesterday was an awesome donation day for Santa Paws Drive, but we still have a ways to go. Our goal is $6,000 -- $1,000 for each of our shelters -- and we're just a third of the way there. We only have a few weeks left... Help us make it happen, please!
After coming home a few times to the kitchen door mysteriously being open and the cat and dog out, a camera was set up to catch whoever was doing it (and to see exactly what was happening!).
Turns out it was an escape plan by both the dog and the cat! Although if you ask me, the cat is clearly the brains behind this operation.
Skip to 1:40 if you want to see what they do to get out, but the actual hatching of the plan is pretty cute to watch too!
P.S. I'm assuming it's the rest of the house on the other side of that door, not the outside.
Bubbles and Bella are the best of friends, and their favorite thing to do is splish-splash and play in the water together! Bella climbs on top of Bubbles and just launches herself off like a diving board. Tons of fun!
Bubbles was taken in by Myrtle Beach Safari after her parents were killed by ivory poachers. She was lucky and survived, and even luckier to have gotten to become friends with Bella!
Bella was abandoned on the property as a puppy by the contractor who they hired to build Bubbles a big pool. It must have been fate that they both love the water so much! Now they're just about inseparable.
Thanks to Cute's fab friend, Tamar, of I Have Cat for sending over this cute find!
After seeing this video, I am convinced we should all write to our senators right away demanding that kittens be banned from your state! They are ferocious and evil and can attack without a moment's notice. And the poor innocent victims, like this defenseless, harmless pit bull, just don't stand a chance.
Kittens are just too dangerous to be kept as pets. Don't you think?
P.S. We officially have all our drivers for this weekend's transport! Momma Izzy is so happy her babies will be able to get their ride home! She is staying put with their rescuer, and the babies are off to Texas from North Carolina!
Yay! Me and my brothers are going on a Cutehead road trip!
Sometimes dogs just get a little too excited. A little too hyper and a little too over-the-top. That's when you need a cat around to put them in their place.
Grace is such a good girl! She cleans up her toys from all over the house in less than a minute!
She has squeaky toys and stuffies all over the place and she runs around like crazy when her daddy tells her to "clean house," rounding them each up one by one and putting them in her toy chest.
And when she's all done, she finishes off with flair and shuts the lid on her toy box!
Thanks to Cutehead Sheryl M. for sharing this cute Golden Retriever Cleans House video on Facebook!
When Francis was just a baby raccoon, she sadly became and orphan. Some nice folks took her in and brought her back to their farm, to grow big and strong and be safe... and at the farm, she met her new best friend, Teddy the dog.
Francis thinks Teddy is her daddy, and the two of them like to play fight and wrestle all the time!
Thanks to Cutehead Lauren G. for sharing this cute raccoon vs. dog video with us!
All the doggie wants to do is enjoy his delicious tasty bone, but the cat will have not of it. There will be no simply enjoying your bone, doggie! Not if the cat has anything to do with it.
He jumps on him, bits his face, climbs his back, puts his paws in his mouth... anything to interrupt his yummy treat. Throw him a bone, would ya, cat?
Thanks to Cutehead Lisa B. for the silly Cat Annoys Dog Eating Bone video find!
Ruti the cat is in charge of making sure her doggie brother gets home safe, so when it's time to go in from playing outside, she picks up his leash and walks him home.
She leads the way, gently tugging the leash and meowing when he lags behind, taking them all the way to their front door. And then she meows to announce when they get there, of course... I guess opening the door herself would have been too much to ask!
Bonedigger the big lion needs his teeth cleaned, and his trusty dachshund dentist, Milo, is there at the ready to help get his teeth squeaky clean!
We all know how important your smile is, and even more important the bigger it is! I wonder how Milo learned to do this? I think he's a brave dog!
P.S. Today is another transport day! We have two kitties traveling through Florida on their way to their forever homes! I'm using hashtag #HopperSimba on Twitter to share along the way.
Simba is heading to Tampa today. His new mom is in Georgia, and he is getting a ride to Georgia from tomorrow. He is going to sleep over tonight at Cutehead Melissa W.'s house until tomorrow!
Simba was actually named Kitty at the shelter, and he was miserable. We also thought he was a "she" at first, and her name was going to be Nala. But then... surprise! It's a boy! He is going to a wonderful forever home.
Simba's sad shelter picture. His name was Kitty at the time. Of course we had to help!
Hopper is also from animal control here in Pompano, FL. He was a staff favorite and somehow was still there after two months (a miracle that he survived there that long, and crazy that no one fell in love with him in that time!). But Cutehead Kristie W. in Tallahassee saw his picture when I shared it on Facebook and fell in love! And one thing led to another... and he's on the way to her!
Hopper is heading to Live Oak, FL today to camp out with Cutehead Dusti M. until next Saturday, and then Kristie will pick him up from there next weekend!
Hopper, looking quite the gentleman at the shelter.
Two more kitty lives saved! Thanks to today's Cutehead drivers, Carie P. (who fostered Hopper here!), Pam C., Linda L. and Diane L.! And thanks to Simba's awesome foster daddy, Kyle S., who fell in love with him, like I'm sure his new mom will. And, OF COURSE, huge thanks to our partner in rescue, Good Karma Pet Rescue, for getting them all vetted and out of the shelter to travel!
Alex the dog likes to boogie down! He starts off with a simple moves, just a two-paw motion... but then he really kicks it into high gear and gets down with his fancy breakdancing skills!
He puts three paws together and rotates around in circles with the fourth one. Get this doggie a boombox and a big beat! He's a great breakdancer!
Thanks to Cutehead Lauren G. for sending us this cute breakdancing dog video. She always find the silliest videos!
