Super Fast Kitty Attack

Don't blink or you might miss this stealth kitty on the attack! And watch your fingers, too... they're not safe around him.

UPDATE about below: Little Meow has the BEST home now. Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word!

Also, Cuteheads, please keep spreading the word that LITTLE MEOW needs a home! She is a very special cat that needs a very special family -- and I know we can find her one if we work together. Every mention, every post and every tweet means the world to me and her.

She is one of my favorite cats in the whole world and, while it breaks my heart to have to let her go, she is NOT SAFE in the parking lot anymore where I've always fed her. She is sweet and loving... and wants to love YOU.

Thank you for helping out. Let's find Little Meow a forever home!!!

Rally the Troops: Little Meow Needs a Home!

UPDATE: Little Meow has a home! Yay! Thanks to Giselle for taking this beautiful princess in. Here's a post with Little Meow and her new brother in her new home!

Calling all cat lovers! Calling all animal lovers! Calling everyone! Little Meow of "The Meows" fame needs a home!

That's right... You (or someone you know) could own your very own Meow! How could anyone pass up this opportunity?

Little Meow, for those of you who aren't regular readers, is a sweet, love of a kitty that I have been feeding in my office parking lot for at least the last three years. She and her best friend in the whole wide world, Daddy Meow, have always been the sunshine in my workdays, my serenity when I needed a break from my desk and what I look forward to every single morning when I pull in to the parking lot. Please be sure to scroll down to see her video!

Hi! My name is Little Meow and I am looking for a mommy or daddy... or both!

Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, we had to say goodbye to Daddy Meow. He was losing weight fast, so I took him to the vet where we found out he had a tumor in his abdomen. Cancer. And I had to make the hard decision to help him to the Rainbow Bridge.

Daddy Meow and Little Meow enjoying a tasty meal and some delicious water.

It was for the best, but that left Little Meow all by herself out there. It absolutely broke my heart. For the next few days, I could tell she was looking for him. She would just stare off towards where he would run out of or look around to see if he was coming before she ate. Believe me, I gave her lots of extra love during this time!

Roll, roll, roll... Little Meow being about as cute as can be! Please click to biggify for the cutest effect!

And now my biggest concern is for her safety. She is a petite princess living in a parking lot. We all know that's not so safe. But she's not your average parking lot kitty. Nooooo, not Little Meow! She is super, super special... Don't forget to watch her video down there!

Little Meow loves to rub. She'll rub your legs, your arms, your hips, your face -- whatever is closest to her. And the whole while, she's purring up a storm.

Little Meow comes when you call her, and will follow you around like a puppy. I have lapped the entire parking lot with her just prancing along at my ankles. I'm pretty sure if I walked 50 miles, she'd still be there, happy as could be. "Where are we going, Mom? Huh?! Huh?!" Adorable.

Oh, do I hear someone calling me? Is it YOU?

Little Meow knows what she likes. Dry food? Meh. Maybe if it's all your offering. But canned food? YES! Especially Friskies Shredded Turkey and Cheese or Fancy Feast Flaked Tuna Feast. She has other favorites, but these will win you her heart in a heartbeat.

Little Meow loves to talk. If you have all day, she'll talk to you all day. And whatever you say to her, she's got some kind of comment to meow back. Silly girl!

Little Meow has the longest, whitest whiskers and the cutest little white spot on the right side of her lip. Sometimes it makes her look like she's snarling, but believe me, she's not... it's just the spot!

Hugs from Little Meow and her cute lip spot!

Little Meow will get along with other cats. You should have seen how she used to rub on Daddy Meow and love him to bits. That's the part that was hardest about saying goodbye to him -- knowing that she wouldn't be able to do that any more. :(

Little Meow loves to be petted, until she's had enough, of course. She is a cat, right?! Her favorite spots are along her back -- long strokes across her whole little body, or the top of her head. Sometimes, if you catch her at an extra cute moment, if you pet the side of her face, she'll completely collapse into a rolling, purring kitty. Special moments! The video is coming up! Just a few more scrolls...

I have to tell you all: Finding Little Meow a home is one of the hardest things I've ever decided to do. Not because I think she won't find one (who doesn't want a Little Meow in their life?!), but because I love her so much and it's going to be hard to let her go. But, you know, what they say is true... If you really love someone, you'll let them go.

I know that by letting go of Little Meow and getting her out of unsafe parking lot, I'm doing what's best for her. She deserves a safe, loving home where she can be pampered all day, have her very own cat bed and a bowl with clean, fresh water at all times. These are the things most kitties take for granted, but something Little Meow has never had.

This is no place for such a special cat!

And so, I'm asking for all of your help. The Internet is a powerful place and the people I've met and know through this blog are an incredible bunch. I know we can do this. I know we can make Little Meow the happiest kitty on in the world.

That said, Little Meow's new mommy or daddy has to be a very special person... She is extremely friendly with me because she trusts me. She will need time to get to trust you. And she WILL trust you and love you, but she's probably going to need a bit to adjust to her new life inside a home. I don't know if she'll ever be a "lap kitty," but I strongly believe she'll be a "couch kitty" -- just close enough to be sitting with you, but not on you. Cats... ;)

I wish I could bring her home with me (You have no idea how much I wish this! I really and truly love this girl.), but I am already over the cat-limit in my condo and I can't risk us all getting evicted.

I know there is someone out there who will give her a home. If you are interested in adopting Little Meow, please email me at AdoptLittleMeow@gmail.com or with the link on the left side of this page. I am happy to answer any questions, send more pictures... anything!

Finally! It's video time...

If you can't see the video, you can also watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYpgB8xKe2s

Also, please know that Little Meow comes with all her initial vet bills paid. She'll have all her shots, all her tests and she is already spayed and everything. She also comes with the rule that you have to send pictures to me and keep in touch! Also, expect packages for her around the holidays and at random times when I just want to send her presents. Hehe. I feel like I'm giving away my daughter...

Please help spread the word about Little Meow. As of today, I am getting her out of the parking lot and she's going to live in a very temporary place at my friend's house. She can't keep her, but she's offered to "babysit" until she finds a furever home.

The fact is, I'm scared for Little Meow in the parking lot lately. People have been really starting to complain about me feeding her and I'm afraid someone is going to take it upon themselves to "solve the situation" on their own.

And that's why I am getting her out of there without even knowing where she's going yet. My main concern is this little girl's safety and happiness. Please help me spread the word and find her a home!

Please post on Facebook, Twitter and on your blogs if you have a few minutes! You can take any info or pictures or video from this post -- and please do! All I ask is that you include her email address, AdoptLittleMeow@gmail.com, so that anyone interested can get in touch with me.

Her stats: Little Meow is a little black tuxedo cat with auburn highlights (you can see them in the sun!). She is about 7 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. She is currently in Fort Lauderdale, FL, but if the right home is somewhere else, we'll find a way to make it happen! My name is Dorian Wagner and you can reach me and Little Meow at the email address up there.

Let's find Little Meow a home!!!

Fat Kitty in a Little Bowl

I don't know if it's the music, the cat or the beautiful purring noises in this video, but I'm am so relaxed and happy after watching it.

I think I'll keep this link handy for stressful moments during the day. One quick view and I'll be all calm and serene again. Hope you feel the same way.

Black Kitty news!
Cuteheads, WE DID IT! Black kitty was rescued from that Henry Co. animal control thanks to Bobbie from Cats, Goats, Quotes. She's going to stay with her for a little and possibly another temporary foster until the nice people from FuRR Feline Rescue fly out to come transport her and take her to her new daddy in Arkansas!

Plus, because of all the press Black Kitty got, another cat was saved from that shelter yesterday as well! What an amazing day. :)

What a lucky kitty. She went from having almost zero chance of staying alive, to now looking forward to having a happy, loving home! Big thanks to everyone involved!

Noms... NOW!

There may be nothing more demanding in this world than a hungry kitten...

And this cute little crew of fosters is no exception! They had been sick, so their human has to chop their food real fine, add water and add medication -- before the noms can be put down. All this takes time though... and kitties don't get that concept!

GREAT NEWS! The black cat that you probably saw all over the Cute's Facebook page and Sparkle's page and tons of other places has FOUND A HOME! We were able to arrange for someone to break her out of there and keep her till the weekend... then the lucky cat is flying to ARIZONA to meet her new family! How exciting is that?! Huge thank you to everyone who helped out and spread the word. If all goes as planned, we saved a life yesterday! :)

Two Cats Tuesday: Moo Wears Short Shorts

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads!

Today Moo would like to show you his silly side. Wait, check that... he's silly on all sides. But this week, he did something SUPER silly.

He wriggled his way into my shorts! On his own. With no help from me. See??? He really does like wearing clothes!

You see, I have this habit of trying on 100 things before I find something I like. What I decide against goes on the floor until I'm all satisfied, and then I put it all back in the closet (eventually, hehe). And this is what happened...

Moo loves to sit on my clothes. But this day, he was rolling around and playing on/in my shorts and shoved his head in the leg hole...

And got all the way in until my shorts were at his waist. That's where shorts go, right?

Then he started rolling around and getting all comfortable... and it was just too ridiculous not to share with you all!

And... we have some exciting news! Guess what's coming up in just a few days, on the 4th of July?!? Here's a hint:

Treat Thief!

From the cat: I know where you hide the treats and when I find just the right moment, I'm going to get in there and steal them all for myself!

Mwahahahahaha...

Is This How Dogs Do Laps in a Pool?

Summer's here, and you know what that means -- doggies splish splashing in pools to cool off!

But just swimming laps or taking a dip would be boring... so Adenine here is going to show us how he likes to play in his kiddie pool! Have you ever seen a more excited doggie?!

Special thanks to @BabyPatches' mom from NipandBones.com for sending over this cute video!
