Kitty Sneak Attack!
Hugo wants to play with Linus, so he asks him very nicely. Linus doesn't want to play (or so he says), and so he kind of tunes out Hugo's question and acts like he didn't hear.

Meet Florence and Herman!
We have two new members of the Cute family! No, I didn't adopt any more cats, but I am kind of a new mommy (and hopefully soon a grandma!).
You see, one day a week or so ago, Florence and Herman showed up. At first, I thought they were just coming to visit -- but then I realized they were totally setting up camp and making a home!
Florence is a sweet little dove that has made her nest on top of my hurricane shutters on my balcony! I have no idea why she chose my balcony, except that of course she did. I am Mother Nature. Animals flock to me. It never fails.
And I love it!
Florence has a husband. His name is Herman.
He is always in the area, making sure she's OK. When they were first building their nest, they used to both hang out up there -- scoping out a good nest spot, I guess -- but now that Florence is roosting, Herman hangs out by himself.
Don't worry, though, Herman is safe. Pimp only watches from inside and chatters at Herman. He's harmless.
I am so excited about this, Cuteheads! I can't wait to have baby birdies out there cheeping away and providing Pimp and Moo with some quality bird-watching.
Every morning, one of the first things I do is go out there and say hi to Florence. And when I get home from work, I check on her, too.
I'll keep you all updated and hopefully have baby pictures to share soon! I'm going to be a very proud grandma.
Does anyone know how it takes for birds to lay eggs and then how long it takes for them to hatch? Share if you do!

Cat Helps With Puzzle
In typical cat fashion, Hugo just wants to help.
If the humans are doing a puzzle, and their are tiny littletoys pieces all over the place, of course the cat will want in on the action!
He is a VERY big help, isn't he?

Kitten in Slow Motion
Sometimes you just have to slow things down to really appreciate... that kitties have really bad aim.
Really? Yes. As it turns out, you can't really tell because they are so fast and frantic and silly. But if you watch them in slow motion, you'll not only lull yourself into a deep cute trance, but you'll also realize that they just randomly fling themselves at their toys and hope for the best.
That said, I am in love with this kitten.

Two Cats Tuesday: Moo Watching the Kitty Halftime Show! (video)
Every year on Super Bowl Sunday, Animal Planet has a Puppy Bowl -- with a Kitty Halftime Show! We tuned in, of course, and Moo was totally mesmerized by it.
I posted a regular picture on our Facebook page, but I haven't shared the VIDEO of him watching until now! (I was saving it for Two Cats Tuesday!) Just look at how into it he is. He couldn't get any closer to the TV if he tried!
I absolutely adored watching Moo watch the Kitty Halftime Show. Made my little heart just love him 100 times more... if that's even possible. :)

The Biggest Little Cat Jump Ever
How many courage-building little hops does it take for one pudgy kitty to jump up to his comfy towel on the TV stand?

A Bowl of Cat
With all this dreary weather outside, perhaps you'd like a nice, warm bowl of cat?
I have no idea what it with cats and bowls, but they sure have a lot of fun in them, don't they?
