Bibi has claimed the couch. That's it. There will be no questions or debate.

And in case anyone wants to know what happens if some other cat dares brave its way into her space... This video is proof that she's well-prepared and determined to defend her sofa territory.


P.S. Bibi is an adorable kitten from over at The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee. I have no idea how they do it, but they always have the cutest kitties! Squee!

When Hyder's family first met her, she was hiding in some bushes, shaking and scared. They brought her in, took her to the vet and gave her everything a kitten deserves... including her very own empty tissue box!

Two Cats Tuesday: The Sheet Monster Returns!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Today I want to show you the scary thing that dwells in my sheets.

It appears once a week, usually on the weekends. Sometimes it just hides and is harmless, but sometimes it latches on the the edge of the sheet and kicks and bites it in a fierce bunny-kicking battle.

My sheets have permanent scars from these battles.

Rawr.

Terrifying, huh? It's a wonder I get any sleep at night with that thing lurking in my house.

That Moo is such a ham.

Pip, the Amazing Kitten with Deformed Front Legs

Pip is a sweet kitten whose front legs aren't like everyone else's. He was born with them bent, so he basically walks on his elbow joints. But that does absolutely nothing to slow him down!

He runs and plays and jumps and bounces and rolls around just like any other kitten. You wouldn't even know he was any different!

Pip came to Tenth Life Cat Rescue in St. Louis all the way from Nebraska so he could get all the proper care she needs. They are monitoring his growth and all, and so far he is doing great! (They are on Facebook and Twitter!)

Stalker Cat Creeps Up on You

Shorty the cat likes to stalk her prey very slowly (and apparently to spooky music) down the hall. She inches her way down the hall on tippy-toes, careful not too move to quickly and blow her cover...

And then, just when the time is right and she just about to her prey, she goes in for the final... head scratch?!
