Thirsty Kitten Drinks His Bottle

It's the weekend, so go ahead and have a drink. In fact, why not just have a whole bottle? This thirsty little kitten sure is!

This little baby was found in a shoe box in some bushes in a park. The family's Yorkshire terrier sniffed them out, and his humans came to their rescue. Yay for nice people!

Pssst... Obviously I'm not suggesting anyone drink a whole bottle of anything. But milk, of course. ;)

Dog Gives Cat a Scooter Ride

Ruger is an Australian cattle dog who likes to ride his scooter. He stands on his back paws, hold the handlebars and scoots around like a pro!

Sometimes he like to give his kitty friend, Lynxie a ride. Which is great, except the Lynxie needs to learn to get off when the ride is over... Oopsies!

(Ruger has a Facebook page if you want check him out!)

NOTE FROM CUTE: A faithful Cute reader sent me an email asking a very important question, and I thought I'd share it here just in case anyone else wanted to know. Betty asked:

"I absolutely LOVE your site, but I've always wondered about 1 thing. What ever caused you to name your kitty "Pimp?" He seems so sweet and wonderful, and I just can't imagine him trying to traffic other innocent cats in the sex trade! So please enlighten me, so I can sleep better at night, and not worry about him having series character issues!"

Good question! Sometimes I forget that not all of you know the story of Pimp's name, so I'm happy to share again. No worries, no sex trade here! I adopted Pimp back in college, when I had three other girl roommates. So it was four girls and he was the only guy... Clearly he was a Pimp, right?

We tried calling him Tyson first for some reason, but it just didn't stick. After a couple days of that, I thought of "Pimp" and it was immediately clear that was his name. And there you have it! The story of Pimp. :) Thanks, Betty, for emailing!

If anyone else has any questions or wants to shoot me an email ever, there's a link on the right. I love hearing from all of you Cuteheads!

What Happens When You Leave a Kitten Alone for Two Minutes...

Conan does not like to be left alone. Not even for two minutes. Those are two minutes you could have spent petting him, hugging him, playing with him!

Not only that, but when you finally come back, this is what you have to deal with... You're back! You're back! Hurry, hurry, I need attention!

NOTE FROM CUTE: We're super excited to share that freekibble.com and freekibblekat.com are generously donating ALL kibble raised today to the animal victims of the Joplin, MO tornado. And ,if they get 1 million pieces, Halo, Purely for Pets, will match it!

All the kibble raised will be going directly to Joplin Humane Society, which is caring for over 800 displaced pets as of now. They need all the help they can get. And by doing this, you can help for FREE!

All you have to do is go to the sites (you can visit both!) and answer a fun trivia question. Whether you get it right or not, they still donate kibble! Go go go! And share all over. What a great thing this is their doing, huh?

Time Lapse: Puppy to Adult in 40 Seconds!

Dunder the German Shepherd grows up right before our eyes! His owners took pictures of him as he was growing up and put them all together in one time-lapse video.

What a fun idea! Such a fun idea, in fact, that Dunder's video has almost 3 million views (as of today) and they only posted it a week ago!

Dunder has a Facebook page, too. Cute is definitely a fan!

Cat Shell Game

There's no fooling this smart kitty! Her human puts a treat under one of three walnut shells and then shuffles them around to mix them up.

Do you think Frida knows which one the treat is under when their done? You bet your sweet whiskers she does. And what concentration, too!

Thanks to Cat vs. Human and Catsparella for sharing this cute cat shell game on Facebook!

Budgie Balancing on a Tennis Ball

First: Budgies are parakeets, but isn't the word "budgie" just so much cuter? I think so, too! Plus, it kind of has a ring with balance and ball.

Anyway, this little birdie has his own little circus act. He balances on his tennis ball and rolls around on it like a pro! And his happy little chirps make it even cuter.

I'd probably get a bird if I didn't think Moo would think he was a snack...

Playing with an Otter

At the San Diego Zoo, the otters swim in a giant tank and you can walk right up to the glass and say hi, take pictures... or race them!

Otters are super playful, and this little boy found out the cute way! He runs alongside the otter's tank, and the cute otter swims next to him from one end to the other and back. And again. And again.

Makes me want to go to the zoo now!

BONUS CUTE: Did you know baby otters like cat toys?
