Happy Dog vs. Meadow

What happens when you take a doggie to an open meadow and let him play to his heart's content? Well, just about the best thing you've ever seen!

He gets all bouncy and hops between all the tall grasses and jumps all around and goes running from side to side and is just really the happiest doggie ever. Ever.

Cat Agility Training

Who says dogs are the only ones who can jump over hurdles and learn fancy tricks? Check out Jumpin' Jack Flash the tiny Tonkinese kitten hopping over stuff and shimmying through tunnels. He's a natural!

Seriously, though, apparently there really are cat agility competitions! It doesn't look like its been updated lately, but the Cat Fanciers' Association has a cat agility page, and according to his video, there's a competition in San Diego this weekend!


P.S. Any of you Cuteheads in San Diego and going to that? I'd love to hear about it... and see pictures! Let me know if you go!

Ophelia, a Very Special Singing and Dancing Parrot

Meet Ophelia, or as he's called now, King O. What he lacks in feathers, he makes up for in cool moves and a fabulous birdie voice! Here he is singing a special version of "Cecilia" -- but Ophelia!

King O.'s previous owner thought he was a she (that's why the Ophelia name), and now he's at Best Friends Animal Society, being loved and cared for... and enjoying plenty of duets like these.


P.S. This video is from 2010. I tried to see if I could find any updates on King O., but I couldn't, so I'm assuming he's still there being all cute and singing. Parrots live a long time -- I hope he gets adopted! Does anyone know of any news? I love this birdie!

Two Cats Tuesday: Our Bling-Bling New Collars!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Pimp and Moo got new collars yesterday and they can't wait to show you!

I decided to get them sparkly, pretty colors because they are the twinkles of my eye... and they look good in fun colors. I saw them from a shop called Sweet Pickles Designs on Etsy. I just stumbled on it, and I love everything they have!

They even have a pink hearts one for Valentines now that I wish I'd seen when I ordered these. You know how the boys love to dress up for holidays... Hehe.

My collar is sparkly green!

Moo's collar is called Prom Queen. It is a shiny, beautiful teal color that is perfect for Florida!

Here, I will move my head so you can see it better.

Pimp's collar is this fabulous purple color. His collar is called The Purrfectly Purple. Purrfect it is, don't you think!

My collar is a regal, pimp-like purple!

He was a little less cooperative with the modeling. I had to try and lure him with treats, and I caught this cute picture!

You have treats up there, mom?

Doesn't his face just melt your little heart? It melts mine. Every. Single. Day.

Four weeks in the life of a ridiculously cute kitten. Watch as Bean Cake (yes, that's the kitty's name!) grows from a teeny little bottle-fed baby to a brave, playful kitten!

Psst... Recognize her? She's the same kitty who we featured a couple months back when she was just learning to groom herself -- and being uber cute in the process.
