Transport Saturday: 9 Ninja Kittens and Crew Heading Up North! #ninjacattransport

Yeah! It's another transport day! This time we have 11 black kittens, a black cat, a cow cat and a tuxie... all heading from Florida to the Northeast!

These cats were all saved from animal control and we're so excited that they have places to go and be safe! Some of the sweetest, cutest, most adorable cats ever are on board for this ride!

5 of the ninjas!

These ninjas were all saved from animal control. There was a cage of nine black kittens, and it wasn't looking good. But then a miracle happened and our friend Danielle G., who works with a rescue near Boston, said they could take them ALL! And so off they go!

Ruby.

Max.

Ruby and Max were part of a litter of five stray kittens that were found near the Cocoa, FL area. They were the only two that made it -- and so they deserve the best forever lives! They are off to Stray Pets in Need in Massachusetts! They will be in foster with a friend of Cute, Therese C.'s cousin! We have the best network here!

Cookie!

Cookie came from Tampa, and she is a petite little girl. She is off to New Hampshire where here new forever mom, Patty P., is anxiously awaiting her arrival!

Tinky!

Tinky was saved at the last minute from Miami Dade Animal Services. She had a horrible URI, and our fellow Cutehead and rescue friend, Maribel M., even slept by her side for two nights. She didn't think she was going to make it... but she did! And she is gorgeous and on her way to her forever home near Boston with a new brother, Cherokee, who is also on the transport! He is all black.

Isn't this the most beautiful bunch? It just occurred to me that there is only black and white in this car! How fun is that?

Huge thanks to all the Cuteheads drivers and the sleepover hosts and the fosters and rescues here in Florida and up north -- and especially the adopters!

21 Cutest Kitten and Cat Stretches

Arched backs, spread out paw pads, pushed out little bellies and big tiny-mouthed yawns galore!

Someone get these kitties some coffee! On second thought, maybe we should all just let them stretch and roll over and go back to sleep for just five more minutes...


P.S. Tomorrow is a mini transport day and this weekend is a big transport weekend! Tomorrow our friend and rescue friend, Cutehead Maribel M. is driving up from Miami and Tampa and back, going to get two kitties saved from there. An orange tabby named Skiddish has a forever home waiting in Miami and a tuxie kitty named Cookie is going to be on our weekend transport!

The big weekend transport is heading up to Massachusetts and New Hampshire -- Nine ninja black kittens and three adult kitties... Such a great bunch! I'll post more on Saturday so everyone can follow along. Looking forward to another big weekend of Cuteheads and friends helping do amazing things!

Paper-Flapping Cat is Determined to Wake Up the Whole House

Oh, I've been here before. It's the middle of the night and I'm in the middle of a deep sleep when flap, flap, flap... There's a relentless, tapping sound coming from somewhere in the house.

I drag myself out of bed to go figure out what piece of paper or shopping bag I left out, that the cat found and knows is the perfect instrument to get me up.

At least mine aren't this big of jerks about it. Mine stop!

The Bravest Baby Ducklings Ever!

Mommy duck decided this pool of water was a great place to take a dunk, but the only problem is that the curb is very high up and the water is very low down... especially if you're a baby ducky!

But those brave ducklings valiantly got up the courage to follow their momma, and each one took a big swan dive right in the water after her! Wheeee!

Two Cats Tuesday: Snuggly Moo, Comfy Pimp and a Little Meow Update!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! There are actually three cats today, so that's a bonus!

Today Moo wants you to see how snuggly and cute he gets when he cuddles up in my arms. He is the ultimate cuddlebug... when he feels like it, of course.

I am cuddly cow cat. 

Also this week, Pimp decided to take advantage of the fact that we got a new mattress, and has been hanging out on the old one and next to it. It's lying in the back of the living room (it's a long room), next to the table behind the couch. He never cared about that table, or the blankets under it -- until the mattress got there. And now it's his new spot!

A shelf and two blankies makes me a happy Pimp!

And here's the bonus kitty! Longtime followers will remember Little Meow. If not, now you get to know her!

She used to be one of my parking lot kitties in my old job's parking lot. She and her friend, Daddy Meow, were the best cats ever, and the highlight of my workday. When Daddy Meow got sick and we helped him to the Bridge, Little Meow was left alone out there. And so we launched a super important mission to find her a forever home!

And she got one with my friend, Giselle! Now this former parking lot kitty lives the life of luxury inside, spoiled like a princess. Giselle sent me this picture over the weekend!

Cat Refuses to Leave Warm Bath

I imagine this bowl of water is like a Jacuzzi to this white kitty. So warm and relaxing!

Plus, there's nothing worse than getting out of the shower or bath when it's cold in the rest of the house... and this kitty knows it just like the rest of us.

P.S. These are foster kitties saved by Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue, according to the video. Cate (the mom) was rescued very pregnant from the streets. This is a much better way to raise her babies!
