We have a special treat today, Cuteheads! Our fab friends over at Fancy Feast have unveiled this year's ornament, and we're getting a super exclusive chance to win one!

Every year for the past 25 years, Fancy Feast makes a new limited-edition ornament for the holidays. They're super collectible -- and super cute, too! This year's ornament is totally different from any of the ones in the past. It's more handcrafted and unique and extra special!

And you know what makes it even more special? 30 Cuteheads will each win a 2013 Fancy Feast ornament of their own!

The people at Fancy Feast come up with the cutest ideas (remember our tote giveaway?) and this year's ornament is no different. It has super cute illustrations of the Fancy Feast kitty and is printed on fancy paper (fancy... get it?) by a small print shop in St. Louis.

Today is a big day all around, and we're celebrating the only way we know how... With lots of cute stuff and kitties and more cute stuff -- and some giveaways!

Not only is it my birthday, but can you believe this is our 2,000th post? That's a whole lot of cute! I am so happy to share all of this with you all and to have met so many wonderful people so we can do so many awesome things!

Two Cats Tuesday: VIP Red Carpet Cat Giveaway!

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Today is super fun! We're one of the official blogs that are part of the Red Carpet Cat after party! And you could bring some swag home yourself!

Everycat's favorite stinky goodness, Fancy Feast, is coming out with an extra fancy new flavor -- Yellowfin Tuna & Shrimp Recipe With Wild Rice in Gravy. It won't be in stores until June 30, but Cute readers have a chance to win a whole case right now!

Last August, Fancy Feast had a Tastemakers Contest where fans could submit their own recipes to be judged. Inspired by her two cats, Ginger and Wasabi, Joan Spector entered her recipe for "Purrrfect Sushi" (they go crazy for tuna and shrimp) and won!

They then took her recipe idea and created this brand new flavor (which you can win!). Her kitties must be so excited to have a Fancy Feast flavor inspired by their favorite foods!

Today's giveaway is something I think all of you with pets will appreciate! It's the BISSELL Perfect Sweep Turbo, which is a miracle if you have kitties who like to spray cat litter all over like I do.

We got to try one of these out, so I can tell you that it works! Pimp likes to make what I call "a beach" out of the bathroom floor. His goal, I think, is to get more litter outside of the box than inside. My goal is to not have cat litter all over the floor all the time!

The great thing about this is that it's like a vacuum. You charge it up and it sucks up all the litter. Sure beats the regular sweeping I've been doing!

Lavender Litter? YES! World's Best Cat Litter Giveaway!

The litter box. It's something we all have, because we have to. Usually we tuck it away in a corner, far enough away from the living room that company will never know it's there.

But what if it actually smelled kind of good? Like lavender.

Oh, yes. It can! It's true! I have no idea why no one ever thought of this before, but the folks at World's Best Cat Litter (which Pimp and Moo have been using for a long time) came out with a lavender-scented version.

When they asked us if we wanted to try it, I'm not even sure if I took a breath before saying YES! Actually, I was probably more excited about cat litter than anyone should be. It's the little things, kitty people, right?

Anywhos, this litter actually smells good! I kind of mixed it in slowly over a week into the regular litter so that Pimp and Moo could ease their way into it. Cats are finicky, you know, so a change in smell might not have been as exciting for them all at once.

But as it turns out, no problems switching over at all! And now the bathroom where their little boxes are always kind of smells a little lavendery (to be fair, when it smells like poop, it still smells like poop, but the lavender scent does kind of waft into the air when they dig around to cover it).

I don't know what Moo is doing here, but I think he's meowing and licking his chops, too. Lavender is yummy!

So, basically, I love it. World's Best Cat Litter is all natural, so that's great. And the lavender is just a touch of lavender oil added, so that's natural, too. Still safe for the kitties!

The Cats Stage a Protest!

Today's Cute is more of a "funny" than a "cute"... but I'm sure you'll love it! (And be sure to read to the end for a giveaway.)

This is a protest that was really held in Berkeley by the Cats Against Clay crew. They are a group against clay cat litter, and they really come up with the best campaign to get the word out. I love it.

They got together and started this protest and somehow it grew and grew... I think people really got into it! The signs are hysterical, the chants are super silly and the whole thing is a riot (not really, of course, it was peaceful).

Plus, here's the exciting part: One of Cute's lucky readers can win an official "Cats Against Clay" T-shirt! That's the logo over on the right -- it's fabulous!
