Today I decided to let Pimp have the day all to himself (you'll see Moo tomorrow picking the winner of the Happy Goat Soap contest!).
Ever since Pimp was just a little kitten, he's LOVES the bathroom sink. When I wake up, the first thing he does is run for it. When he wants to be petted, he hops up on the counter and rubs his head on the faucet like crazy. (I always tell him: You love your faucet, don't you, Pimpy?)
The water has to be turned on to juuuuuust the right little stream, or else he just stands there and stares at it. But when it's the perfect, delicious pressure, he dives right in. He usually hates water, but makes and exception for the sink, dunking his head and letting the drips roll of the top. Doesn't he look Scotchguarded in that picture up there? It just beads up!
I must turn it on five times a day for him... at least. I'm pretty sure he hardly drinks out of his water bowls -- for some reason, the bathroom sink is way yummier. Here he his lapping it up (with BONUS extreme close-up!):
Doesn't he kind of look like the other faucet kitty I posted it up a couple days ago?
Make sure you come back tomorrow to see how Moo picks the winner of Cute's latest contest!
That's the best place to get a drink!

OMD! I has heard of kittehs drinking out of the sink but never letting waters run over their faces like that. Silly Pimp! He is very funnie!
ReplyDeletePimp, you silly boy!! You are so funny with your head in the water! You remind us of our Maizy Grace, that is how she likes to drink water too!
ReplyDeleteI should have gotten my Tabatha on video before it was too late. Cute cat. I wish I could have entered for the Happy Goat soap contest. I've been following them for awhile. It's hard to get around to everybody.
ReplyDeleteOur Pooh Bear loved the bathroom sink, too, except she curled up in it and slept.
ReplyDeleteMy cat loves sink drinks --- she will follow me from room to room demanding I turn on every faucet in the house...so I got her a water fountain, that she barely goes near :-)
ReplyDeletestriped tabbies seem to have a predilection for water faucets and water in general. I've had two and they were both sink junkies - I have pics of ZuZu sitting in the kitchen sink with the water pouring down her head and she was just happy as a clam (no pun intended).
ReplyDeleteSome cats don't like to drink stagnant water, Maxx is like that, but she will onley drinker from her water fountain.
ReplyDeleteFarm cat Fred is the same way. He will drink out of the bathroom sink faucet and drives the publicist crazy!
ReplyDeletewe have three kittens and they do the same thing
ReplyDeleteWow! He really gets wet!! Why do the kitties love the sink so? Grace does that too. I have to turn on the light though, so I don't forget and have the water running all day.
ReplyDeleteOh, Pimp is so cute! My cats will only drink water out of glasses...
ReplyDeletePimp is so cute! Angel drinks out of the sink too and they both drink out of water bottles. No use for water bowls I guess!
ReplyDeletePIMP! he didn't even seem to mind a little water on his head! i love him!
ReplyDeleteThat's how my Sammy drinks. The other 4 will drink out of a bowl, but not Sammy!
ReplyDeleteThat's how my Sammy drinks. The other 4 will drink out of a bowl, but not Sammy!
ReplyDeletePimp I love your Gator collar. I knew you are a special kitty, but now I know you have a very smart mama!
ReplyDeleteMy boys know the right teams to root for! ;)
ReplyDeleteAtta boy, Pimp! A true Florida kitty - water and the Gators! :) Britt w/Puffy and Winky
ReplyDeletePimp's just washin' his head because his tongue can't reach it.
ReplyDeleteGet a Drinkwell 360 for all your babies that love drinking from water streams or drips. I found a good price on Amazon. It's nice because it's stainless. After all, we can't leave the water running all day from the faucet! X's
