He's a desert rain frog, and he apparently has a lot to say.

ReplyDeleteI have this app on my tablet just for the cats and this frog sounds similar..I call it my kitty kat krack app. I swear they go through withdrawal when i turn it off.. :)
My cats also went crazy when they heard this. They're all looking all over for the squeaky toy!
ReplyDeleteEven my ats never heard a frog in their whole life, they put their ears up at the squizzy sounds - perhaps something in their genes remembered that song from the wild... Love those frogs.
ReplyDeleteThat is seriously cute! He sounds like a baby kitten. He's a very different looking frog. Looks like he blows himself up all round and puffy to ward off predators like camera person. :)

ReplyDeletePersonally, I think this little guy is the embodiment of "You're cute when your mad". He has no idea that his battle cry makes him adorable. Or maybe it's intentional. When people see him and keel over from the SQUEE, he can make his getaway.

ReplyDeleteOne is of a rat running around and another is a crow or raven flying about. My kitties (all ten) go crazy like its kitty crack! I keep telling my husband we will need to buy more tablets with larger screens for them for they now watching our large screen tv thinking mr.rat will come out to play!
Thanks Laura!! That sounds like crazy fun for cats! I think my cats will love it. I have the App Games for Cats on my iPad. You can choose a red dot going around on the screen and when the cats touch it it explodes into points and there's also mouse. They were more interested when they were kittens though. And they do love the DVD Cat Sitter. Lots of birds, hamsters, crows, bluejays, cats etc... Crazy stuff for cats. But most times they love more the boxes their toys came into! Crazy cats!

ReplyDeleteOh yea i think even Pimp will love it! At first they weren't to interested in it,i don't think they really saw it but after awhile they went crazy. They now sit next to the tablet waiting for us to turn it on and if they have waited too long (all of 2 minutes) they chirp and paw our arm to get our attention. Its worth it,and for free its even better! :P
