I'm not a fan of fishing, but if these were the kinds of things you caught, I might be able to get more excited about it...
An adorable kitten swam right up to this fisherman, and was immediately taken home and fed. Yay, kitty, for braving the water and getting a home out of it! :)
I hate to think that some mean person probably dumped this perfect baby at that lake, but it's probably what happened. I'm just really, really, really glad the kitty was so smart and swam to such a caring person. :)
Thanks to Cute's friend @ceejness for sharing this adorable video story! Originally posted on acidcow.com.

ReplyDeletePoor kitty. I just don't get it...
ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful story ~ it's a sad thought that somebody dumped him but how wonderful that the right person was waiting on the other side. It was meant to be I think. This will be a life time friendship I hope!

I'm not a cat lover, however, under the same circumstances, I would have done the same thing and learned to love it and take care of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a cat lover but under the same circumstances, I would have done the same thing. Taken it home, fed it, taken care of it and learned to love it. I don't understand how any human can just dump a house pet out far from home. Those are the same type of people who could and some have, dump their kids the same way. They need to be taken for a long ride from their homes and dumped.
ReplyDeleteI just lost my little "sammy" -- cute cat -- thinking after seeing this, I will get another cat!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous right above this... YAY!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, I am in tears here. This is the most beautiful, courageous story of a little kitten I have ever been told in my lifetime. Thank you very much for taking this little love who needed you most into your hearts, life and love and immediately gave the baby love, food, and medical attention she needed. My god the baby has courage swimming across the lake like that. I am truly humbled by this most amazing story. Bless you forever for taking care of this little angel.
ReplyDeleteThis is just so wonderful to see. What a brave wee girl she was to swim the whole distance - it was her adrenelin flowing that got her across that lake where some horrible person left her. Thankfully she swam toward the 'right person' for her furever home. She is such a sweetie and thank you caring and wonderful person for taking her, feeding and drying her off and taking her home. Cats are typically not good swimmers but this baby had the survival instincts and it truly paid off.
ReplyDeleteGood one Linda!!
