Barking Cat

In my house, we don't call this barking. It doesn't have a name, actually, I just kind of look at the cats and mimic them... which I'm sure pretty comical from their point of view.

I have heard it called "chattering"... but I don't buy it. Barking I can almost buy into though -- if you're talking the sound that might come from little teenie weenie teacup extra-miniature midget poodles.
