This week, Moo is going to demonstrate how we get ready for bed, a.k.a. how Moo beats me to the best spot.
Thanks for pulling the comforter down, Mom... I was having a hard time getting to the pillow. This is much more comfortable.
I mean, you did pull it down so that I could get in this awesome spot on your side of the bed, right? *high paw*
This spot is so pawsome! Just look at how I can hug the pillow and streeeeetch out and all.
You weren't planning on sleeping here, were you?
Oh, and don't think Pimp was letting me sit on my chair earlier either...

ReplyDeleteWe rule around here too. Mom will remove us from the computer chair and then we race her back to the chair. Most of the time we win. So then we sit on all the other chairs. She keeps threatening to have her own room but we would just drive her nuts at the door if she did. There is always something we need.

ReplyDeleteOur house is the same way - there is always some kitty in my spot - on the couch, on the bed, even sometimes in the bathtub (til it is turned on at least!)

ReplyDeleteOf course, the kittehs choose where to sit/sleep! But the best part is when they choose to sit/sleep with YOU.
ReplyDeleteI was fostering some babies for the shelter, and one day I showed one of them how to climb up to my bed. He played around up there, then got down, nothing more. But when I woke up that next morning, I became aware that the two of them had tucked themselves into the space between my collarbone and my ear, all tangled together the way kittens do, and sleeping/snoring. When they realized I was awake, they started purring uproariously.
So sometimes, when they run the house, they allow their humans to get what they want, too. BTW, yes it IS hard to let them go when it's time for them to go up for adoption.

ReplyDeleteYep, that's right Dorian......YOU only pay the rent or mortgage! It's Moo and Pimp's house and as said, 24/7, they are there to pick the spots...you just have to work around it. Paulie is a big boy however it is amazing that they always lie horizontally on the bed and I have to squeeze in the 1/4 of a Queen sized bed. Once in awhile, he'll decide to be parallel to me and give me a bit more room.....such is life with kitties. Happy Tuesday all!
