Dog Protects Food Bowl From a Duck
For those of you who don't know, ducks have guts. They are bold and brave and often really annoying. (I know this from experience when a gaggle of them once lived in my office parking lot and I spent my days chasing after them like an idiot in my work clothes outside my office building so the cats could have a few minutes of peace to eat. I hope to never do that again. But I would. Anyway...)

ReplyDeleteNo she did-ent!!! I think she was just playing cuz she did not actually go after the food, she just wanted to tease the dog. I love how she was wagging her behind!!
ReplyDeleteDucks can be bullies. They are quite cheeky and full of themselves. I don't doubt for a minute that this duck is teasing the dog just for fun.
ReplyDeleteOn the lake I grew up I have seen many times that geese attack - or try at least - doggies walking along the shore.They swam very close to boatpiers also and were very unfriendly and mean to people. But this video shows, that they can be very playful and fun as well. Cute video. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteNo, it's a duck. It's a Muscovy duck. I used to own one when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteIt's a Muscovy duck, not a goose. And they are very brazen, but oh-so-fascinating! I do so love ducks!
