Cats do way more than just eat and sleep... They also open doors and dry their faces off with towels and open food containers and check what's in the fridge and flush toilets -- and so much more!
The cat wiping his face????......Unbelievably brilliant, yet also hysterical! My daughter's cat sits just like the kitty watching tv, and my Teodor Katbluskee gives hugs, exactly like the kitty hugging her man. I love these!! X's
I just read your "Open Letter to People Who Surrender Their Pets to the Shelter," and, though I know your heart is in the right place when it comes to animals, I beg you to ask for forgiveness toward those who may have had no other choice. I totally agree that, when it's a matter of having a baby, or a new boyfriend, there is a choice there. But what happens when a person, through an economic downturn, has to say, move to a smaller or more affordable place, and isn't allowed to take their beloved pet with them? I live in fear and cry daily over the possibility of that ever happening to me. I have 5 cats and a dog and they are my family. My "Kids." I can't imagine life without them, and though I've wanted to take my own live many times, I won't do that because I can't leave them behind. But, I've lost my home of 15 years, and by some stroke of luck I was able to rent an apartment with terrible credit, and too many pets. Now, with the world in an apparent melt down, I'm terrified that I'll have to "Bug Out" or at the least, be forced to move because I may no longer be able to afford the rent. Reading your scathing letter started me crying all over again. I've lain awake many nights, trying to figure out a way to take them with me if I have to leave, but what then? Cats can't live in a tent or a lean to or a cardboard box. Instead of condemning someone for having to surrender their pet, try to come up with a solution so we don't have to be parted. I'm hanging on for dear life here, and all you can say is what ass holes people are who have lost everything, including the pets they love.
I'm smart enough to let the humans do all the work for me!
ReplyDeleteWe kats r smart enuff to no, if we do it poorly, we won't be expected to do it all the time! (but we no we CAN!) :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have do any of that stuff here. We've trained our humans to do it all for us .
ReplyDeleteGood thinking! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe Farm cats have servants to do that for them
