First up, The Battle of the Not-Box, one sure to go down in history. It was an epic, lazy battle, with both Moo and Phantom refusing to give up ground. After several slow swats and a few low grumbles, a truce was finally reached. Thank goodness, because I would have hate to have seen the not-box in ruins after any more serious of a battle!
Here's a photo play-by-play of the battle.

Now on to the saga of Pimp's poop (no shortage of drama here this week!). It's still not right, so we went to the vet again last weekend. We have some super dewormer to give him and she gave him a B12 shot. Either of those could work, so I'm keeping an eye. He's also going to go get an ultrasound soon, so that we can just see everything that's going on in there. She is not saying there is anything more serious, but we should look since he's an old man and poop tells you when something isn't right.
Meanwhile, this is Pimp's favorite spot lately. On the IKEA furniture thing behind the couch, on the cat mat I put there. He'd been sitting there, so I put a bed there... and voila! Best. Spot. Ever.
Have a great week, everyone!
Thanks for the bed here, mom! It's the best! |
Great to see Moo and Phantom playing and lounging together! As I approach 50 (shudder) I feel for Pimp and his.."issues"...! ;)
ReplyDeleteMy Mrs. Peabody is 14 and developed horrifically stinky poop last year. The consistency (for lack of a better term!) wasn't right either. She was diagnosed with Inflammatory bowel disease. Special diet seems to be keeping it under control. Hope your vet can pinpoint the problem.
ReplyDeleteMy mom's older kitty was having some major poop issues and it turned out to be food allergy. She can't digest beef. They removed beef from her diet and things are going back to normal after numerous medicines and vet visits. And my Mom figured this one out. She noticed when she ran out of beef food that the poop got better and went to the store and got more food and when she was given beef things got bad again so now no more beef in anything. Since she gets canned food as well as dry.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the "battle". So cute. I'm happy they reached a truce. I hope Pimp's "problem" will be solved soon!!! You have a great week too, Dorian.
ReplyDeleteAren't cats and kittens fun to watch? It's so fun to try and analyze what's going on in those little walnut-sized brains and what they're saying to each other!
ReplyDeleteI hope all comes out, erm, right for Pimp
ReplyDeleteThose kind of lazy "fights" go on around here a lot. Neither cat is even willing to stand up, much less move! They lay there and swat each other's paws until one or both nods off.
ReplyDeleteWatching my kitten Anya playing in water is super fun. I wish I could share it all with you! WAIT! I could! There's a video on my FB page.
Good luck sweet Pimp. I'm thinking of you. Hugs and kisses. Xo
ReplyDeleteMoo has a pal!!
Lazy battles are the best, no destruction!
ReplyDeletePimp, we hope you get your poop in a group soon! purrs and hugs!
We absolutely cannot believe that the non-box still exists! Amazing. We really hope Pimp does not have anything serious. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI hope Pimp is okay. My Grace has wonky poops about every 2 weeks...and then I cook her some chicken and she's fine again. I think of her like an old Grandma--you know, sometimes the belleh struggles when you get old. I hope that it's just that with Pimp. I shall keep him in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteIs Pimp still on that prescription diet for his thyroid? Could that be causing his poop problem?
