The annual World's Ugliest Dog competition was held Friday at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, Calif. Tons of, um, cute contestants competed -- and here are some of the big World's Ugliest Dog winners for 2009.
Honestly, I think the winner is actually really, really cute!
Here's Pabst, a 4-year-old boxer mix -- he was crowned the 2009 World's Ugliest Dog winner!
I think Pabst is smiling in this one...
And this lovely lady down here is Miss Millie. She's a Chinese-crested (they always win... wonder why) who took first place in the Pedigree category. I wonder who does her hair?
What do you think of these World's Ugliest Dog winners? Personally, I love this competition. It's so nice to give these special cuties a chance to shine, too!

I have a hard time seeing the ugliness in any animal but Miss Millie certainly is a little odd looking - in a cute way of course!
ReplyDeleteSome people is just "breeding" those ugly dogs for these competitions.
ReplyDeleteIt´s really sick.
But some people really care for there dogs and love them really much.. the just have a ugly dog.
I think it´s really mean to breed ugly dogs.. just because of this competition.
And i wouldn´t call Miss Millie a purebred Chinese Crested.
They aren´t ugly dogs - but they can become ugly because of people mixing the dog to other breeds.
I think Millie need skin care, like chinese crested needs.
