Two Cats Tuesday: Something is Backwards Here

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Today Pimp and Moo want to show you how things can sometimes get a little mixed up around here.

First, two questions: What goes in the closet? Clothes, right? And what goes on the floor? Cats.

Hmmm... not in our house.

I dug all the towels out from the shelf and made myself a comfy hidey spot!

Mom insists on throwing her pajama pants on the floor, so I try to cover them with toys every day.

I'm glad Moo thinks I put them on the floor because I'm lazy, but the real reason is that I do it on purpose -- because he loves to bring them the same toys every single day! I don't know what started it, but it keeps him busy all day while I'm gone at work. (There is more evidence here.)

Any of this shenanigans happen at your house?

  1. That looks like a comfy spot, Pimp!  Moo, Harley likes to drag his toys upstairs every single evening.  He always brings at least one wand toy, too.

  2. I love to jump in my human's wardrobe whenever I get the chance. And for my maximum comfort it's necessary to push some of her clothes out :-)

  5. That is weird that he brings toys to your pajamas. Kinda makes you wonder what your pajamas are doing all day, doesn't it? I mean, are they having fun without you?

  6. My Sophie Bean likes to hide in Hubby's sock drawer. She's all white so sometimes he doesn't see her when he's reaching for socks.

Frankie has discovered my pajama drawer. Like Pimp, he pushes out what's in the way and makes himself comfy.

Harry's the only one who doesn't get on the clothes. He'd much rather be on blankets. Silly kitties!

  7. Ashi's absolute favorite spot is in the laundry basket - clean clothes only, of course. And if they're folded, all the better!

And I never make my bed. If I do, the cats get VERY upset because they don't have rumples and piles of blanket to burrow in during the day.

Zelda "catches" her Kong ducky every night and lays it on the floor next to the bed. That would be fine, but shealso  has to announce it with a very loud meow while I'm sleeping!

  11. The publicist used to let the Farm cats climb in the closed until former Farm cat Ghost clawed up the male person's leather jacket.  He was, erm, less than happy and now the closet is off limits to all Farm cats.

  14. Pimp & Moo are the most enchanting cats!! Wouldn't it be wonderful if ALL animals had this much love around them!! I do not think we will ever get on top of the unwanted animal population. I am in Australia, and it is a huge problem, too many pet shops allowed to sell animals, desexing should be mandatory apart from registered breeders. Local Councils do not do their bit, where they could make sure all animals purchased from Pounds are desexed. Pople surrender (mainly cats) for the most selfish, shallow reasons - eg "moving to apartment" etc. I would live in a tent before I would surrender any of my mob. I know breeders have a legitimacy, but it seems a dreadful tragedy that thousands of beautful, healthy animals are euthanased every year. The mixed breeds are often healthier than finely-bred animals. Some extreme breeds have nasal problems etc, in the case some Persian breeds, and Pugs/Bulldogs. Cuddles to Pimp & Moo - and all of those waiting for forever homes and somebody to love them. Like we do over here, I know you all do your best to give these little unwanteds  as much love as you can. As I type this I have a little head asleep on my lap, almost on the keyboard (sitting on my bed with the lap top!).  We are certainly "covered in cat hair" and probably have another dozen or so in the computer.
