I have to be honest, I had no idea this video would be so adorable. I've seen it going around and I haven't watched it yet, but today I did -- and I'm so glad! Lil' Drac is one of the cutest, sweetest little critters I've ever seen. Wait till you see him rock...
And the people at Bat World Sanctuary as so gentle and loving with him. I hope he grows up big and strong! (And I hope they post updates!)
that made me well up.. he is so very tiny and cute
ReplyDeleteYes, this is one of the most touching videos out there, ever. I can't watch it again right now because it makes me cry too hard.
ReplyDeleteAdorable - such care taken with this little one!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cute video. It gives my hope for humanity to see how gentle and loving they are to that little bat.
ReplyDeleteSo very sweet!!! See, it's possible to awww over other animals than kittens and puppies!!! It's very much a hopeful action!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw this video and squee'd and died many times. I love bats and never really get to see baby videos or pictures so this was just heaven for me~ Thanks so much for sharing and please post more bats =)

I love bats, and this tiny baby is just so fragile and adorable.
ReplyDeleteFriends, do please support Bat World Sanctuary. They are doing important work educating people about these amazing little creatures.
That is so darn interesting. What terrific people to take care of that baby bat. All the little things they were doing sure was interesting. That was a good find. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI saw this recently, very interesting and touching,
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, fruit bats are really charming creatures. Their fox-like faces make them so easy to find adorable! They are also so important in the food chain!
ReplyDeletePrecious! Such a tiny wee bit of a thing that it's a wonder that it was even found. Such caring - soooo much smaller even than a small baby kitten.
ReplyDeleteThey are mamals just like us - God bless them and those who take care of them. <3
ReplyDeleteOh deal lord what an absolutely adorable little guy. Every creature is precious, no matter how ugly some may think they are. Personally, I think this little one is too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but this video made me cry like a little girl! Perhaps it was the music? I don't particularly like bats (don't find them cute), but the way these people care for them and help them grow up big and strong is just gorgeous. We need more people like that in the world. Good job Bat World!
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing, Charlotte! I think the video was just so beautiful, but the most beautiful part was how gentle and caring they are with him. And all the the little things I would never know, like how a Qtip is like a mother's tongue or that they need to be brushed. I just loved the whole thing. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that thought. :)
ReplyDeleteMuch smaller! He looks like he's a little bigger than a finger! So cute.
ReplyDeleteThe publicist loves bats. They are vital to our ecosystem. A bat will eat up to 4 times its weight in bugs (mostly mosquitoes) every day! At least the ones we have here do. Go bats!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it, Marg! I thought it was so sweet right when I saw it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea they were so cute until this! :) I will definitely look for more.
ReplyDeleteI was fine until the rocking. That was so adorable, I welled up a little. So cute, the rocking, lol.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, gees, that was sweet. And even more so is how the person caring for him is so gentle and kind to wait for him to rock himself like that. Dang--now I want a little baby bat to take care of . :)
ReplyDeleteI went to a wildlife rehabilitation center a long time ago while it was baby squirrel season. After feeding each baby squirrel, they needed to be "watered". That is where the mother stimulates the baby's system to go potty--and that is what they are doing when they gently rub his tummy with the cloth and then the Q-tip.
What a sweet little guy--I hope they show him all grown up too!
