I've known some cats who couldn't care less about the stuff, but to actually turn their nose up at? Silly, silly cat. And an adorable reaction, of course.
BONUS CUTE: This is how ridiculous most cats get on catnip. They're high as kites!

M would have said that about me during the time I was having toothie problems. I didn't like catnip either, but now I'm like it very much. We'rre not sure why. M think's I had so much infection in my mouth that smells just didb't get thru.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! Never seen a cat react that way before.
ReplyDeleteMy Sadie (who looked a lot like your Pimp) HATED catnip. She would RUN AWAY from it. I always told her she should be the poster child for the "just say no" campaign.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I call a bad trip! Some cats' sense of smell is much more sensitive than others. It looks as though it was about to make him sneeze. Awwww.
ReplyDeleteHe's thinking...are you kidding me??? I only use FRESH catnip///get that crap out of here it's stale!
ReplyDeleteLMAO - best cat reaction faces EVER!!!
ReplyDeleteheeheehee!! silly kitty! my cat makes a similar face when we cook asparagus, he hides under my bed because he hates the smell of it so much but he LOVES his nip!
ReplyDeleteThat is funny!.......odd, but funny!
ReplyDeleteX's
My cat isn't affected by dried cat nip at all, but he enjoys eating it. I bought him a catnip plant though and he turned his nose up at it and tried to bury it.
ReplyDeleteOh! However, every time I have a baked good with Anise in it (like Italian cookies) he almost mauls me for a taste, which is odd cause he doesn't usually care about human food. Anise is his catnip.
ReplyDeleteStinky the Farm cat does not like catnip...but she does not run from it...
ReplyDeleteMy ragdoll, Angel doesn't like catnip. She just sniffs it and goes on her way.
ReplyDeleteOh My Cat! *raises paw* We'll take it!
ReplyDeleteLOL !!! Love the way the kitty crinkles his nose. 2 of my boys go crazy for nip, both dried & fresh. Louie will roll on the plant if I let him. Mo, however, only likes the dry nip.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one do that. That was hysterical. But a lot of the cats here could care less about the cat nip. They do love the Silvervine. Take care.
ReplyDeletePerfect "look of disgust"!
