They originally assumed "The White Cat," as she is called, was to blame for the missing duckies... but they quickly realized she was just protecting them and making sure the had enough to eat. Look how cute and happy she is with her new birdie babies!
P.S. Unfortunately, I am reading some reports that duckies can't actually nurse, so they're just kind of copying what the kittens are doing -- but it still makes for a cute video!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great mom. We love how she is protecting her kittens and the ducklings equally. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
ReplyDeleteWhaat a precious mommy and she is certainly protecting the ducklings and keeping them warm and cozy with her adorable babies. She is a beautiful "White Cat" and a treasure to have around I'm sure. Believe she is very proud of her 'charges'.
ReplyDeletemasa cat is so adorable. we could learn from that.
ReplyDeleteAwww......so cute!! She sure seems protective of the little ducklings. Shows how species can get along. If only mankind would follow her lead.
ReplyDeleteShe's really protective of the little ducklings and her kittens.......so sweet!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if ducklings don't nurse - the "Wild cat" takes her job very seriously and protects the ducklings as much as her kittens. Great, sweet video. Thanks for making me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat must be the cutest ever! <3
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet! We had a barn cat who had several litters and whenever she would lose one of her own kittens, she would go hunting for another. With one litter, two of her kittens died so she brought home baby rabbits to replace them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a WONDERFUL world
