Have you all ever tried to trap your kitties somewhere? I bet you have!
Pimp and Moo love to sleep on the couch (and of course they are totally allowed), but I am just not a big fan of having to vacuum it every day just so I can sit on it. And so I designed this handy, never-fail cat trap.
Snug as to cats on a trap. |
I'm sure you've used this tactic before. Boxes also work very well for the same purpose. You put a box or a blanket down, and the cat will appear on it within minutes. Tada! It's like it was a trap. :)
Zzzzzzz... |
When I saw this squeaky mouse at the story, I just knew he'd love it. And so I bought it for him -- and now all I hear is squeak squeak squeak all the time.
But how could I care about that? Just look how happy it makes him!

ReplyDeleteHow are Pimp and Moo reacting to Phantom?
ReplyDeleteMy cats are allowed just about any place they want to go in the house so my furniture is always covered with something for them to stretch out on. Pimp and Moo have a pretty "trap". Enjoyed watching Phantom play with his mousy!! Sweet.
ReplyDeleteYour cat, Moo, looks a lot like my girl, PK..... Cow cats are sure widespread! Theyre all adorable! I also have a tuxedo, Mouse.. Shes relatively new to our family, but settled right in.
ReplyDeletePoor Phantom is probably wondering why that mouse just won't die! :)
ReplyDeleteI love Phantom and hope he is now a member of your family... he's perfect.
ReplyDeleteThat is nice
ReplyDeleteso happy to see Phantom so happy! And the cat traps work at my house too!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww!! Phantom loves his toy! :) He is so cute! The cat traps are great, blankets, boxes, newspaper and tissue paper work great in our house.
ReplyDeleteNewspapers work as cat traps, also.
ReplyDeleteWe have one of those squeaky mice and a bird, also. Sometimes they start squeaking for no reason. ;-)
Yes, the cat trap is used in this house too!! I love to watch them play with their toys like that. Phantom was carrying that mouse as if it was live prey. So cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat really works well is your best white sweater, if you have black kitties, or your best black sweater, if you have white kitties. Never, ever fails.
ReplyDeleteThat is one very happy boy! He sure hit the jackpot. Glad the cat trap is working. They look very cozy.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to see how happy this wonderful Phantom boy is at your home. Watching him one would never think that something could be wrong with his hind leg. Precious boy to keep with you !
ReplyDeletePhantom's little leg doesn't seem to slow him down a bit! Whatta cutie pie! And LOVE those squeekymice. Especially the one that hangs from the top of the door--always a giant fave in my house.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Phantom is doing better with that leg of his! His playfulness gave me a big smile! Any updates on the "boys'" vet visit?
ReplyDeleteBest whiskers.... I mean wishes!
ReplyDeleteQuite the active little dude! He's stink in' cute! Ahhh but so are your nappers!
ReplyDeleteX's & O's
Haha, Dorian, they have a website: www.playnsqueek.com and it's called "Danglemouse!" And all the kitties can sign up for the newsletter and a birfday gift! Yaaaay!
ReplyDeleteOops! I'm ahead of myself! It's called "Batting Practice!" And I gave you that 1v and didn't mean to: I meant to hit "Reply." My little fingers are sooo cooold up here in Chgo! The upshot is that as soon as I sit down or crawl into bed I have leetle furry ones all over me!
ReplyDeletei'm tired just watching phantom, so scoot over moo and pimp.
ReplyDeleteLove the cat trap ! I bought a mousie just like that one for Louie when he was a kitten. Lately Venus played with the mouse... until it went for a swim in the dog's waterdish. Now it doesn't squeak !
ReplyDeleteMy kitties had one of those until one of the dogs chewed it up :( I need to get another one cause they loved it!
ReplyDeletePhantom is having the time of his life!! And so are Pimp and Moo. Phantom is a beautiful black cat. I love black cats!
ReplyDeleteOn our couch we have a cat basket for Frank next to my husband and one for Jack next to me. So basically there is more cuddling with the cats than with each other. :)
