How to Read the Newspaper With Kittens

Anyone who has cats knows that one does not simply read the newspaper. Or a book. Or anything, really (I can't even read my iPad without Moo standing in front of it).

Here is a man reading the newspaper with his two 10-month-old kittens, Pip and Fritz. Does this kind of shenanigans look familiar to any of you?

NOTE FROM CUTE: Guess what? I start my new job today! I'll post more about it later, but I just wanted to let you know the good news. I'm excited about it, but I have no idea how Moo is going to deal with being by himself all day long now... He's been stuck to my side, or my lap, for weeks.

Love these cute playful kitties. Congrats on the new job; don't worry cats are pretty independant, and your two have each other for company. You will probably notice they will demand your undivided attention for a short while when you get home each day, most likely they will get used to your return time and "wait" for you every day! My cat does this and rushes out when he hears the car pull into the drive. I drop everything and pick him up for a few minutes, this continues inside where he jumps on the table top to be petted for a while whilst pawing and patting at me . He also let a "foreign" cat in for company, could'nt believe it, thought I was seeing double as my cat marched in behind me into the kitchen, ... and went and sat right next to a doppleganger - no fur flying, obviously his buddy, how about that! Cats will find a way to keep happy in your absence. L -X

  14. Awe! I tried to work a jigsaw puzzle over the winter (hadn't done that in years)! I couldn't complete the puzzle because my cat Roady had to lay across all the pieces. Nuff said. HPN

  21. Oh, I'm so glad for your new job!! YAY!!!

Hey, a kitten's gotta do what a kitten's gotta do.
I'd be playing with them, too, instead of reading. That's the point that the kittens are making.
