Cat Drinks From Sink and Dries Her Face With a Towel

Bianca likes to drink from the sink like most kitties, but she does not like her face to stay wet after she's done under the faucet -- so she uses the bathroom towel to dry off her face!

So now this house needs hand towels and paw towels, apparently. Which I'd take over what my kitty does, any day. He just shakes his head and gets the water all over the bathroom mirror. I wonder how I can teach him to use a towel!


P.S. BlogPaws kicks off today! Last night I went out to dinner with a bunch of cat blogger friends, and had a blast! I'm looking forward to kicking things off today, and of course, am hugely thankful to Purina for sponsoring my trip here!

Amazing Cat Opens Five Doors to Get Outside!

When a cat is determined, a cat is determined. This crazy cat opens five different doors on her mission to get outside.

Door and handles are nothing for this kitty. She knows her way around the house, and nothing -- especially not a door! -- is going to stand in her way of getting some fresh air.


NOTE FROM CUTE: Of course I do not think kitties should be outside, but this was too silly not to share!

Two Cats Tuesday: Moo's Fake Box

Happy Two Cats Tuesday, Cuteheads! Today Moo has a new box (you know how he loves boxes!). But just between you and me, let's not tell him that this isn't really a box, OK?

This is a mighty fine box!

Wait. Holdonaminute. What are you saying?

This isn't a real box?! What do you mean?

Seems like a box to me!

This is a cardboard square thing that came inside one of those big under-the-bed Rubbermaid boxes. I took it out and just knew Moo would get in it and act like it was a box!

Who cares that it doesn't have a bottom? It's close enough for Moo!

Mittens the Cat is Best Friends with an Alpaca

Mittens the cat has a best buddy, and won't leave her alone for even one second. Sweet Lacey the alpaca is just trying to get a little snack in, but Mittens is determined to love on her and demand attention instead!

Can an alpaca eat in peace?! Sheesh!

P.S. All the kitties from the #15catcaravan transport this weekend made it home safe last night! Buddy stayed in Richmond, Suki went to her new daddy in Edison, NJ, Bella is with her new mom in South Kingstown, RI and the rest of the cats and kittens are all safe and sound at HART of Maine rescue in Maine! Thanks to everyone who helped and to all of you for cheering us on! I'll post more pictures on Facebook soon!

Happy Mother's Day! (And an Last-Minute Transport Request for a Momma Kitty!)

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there -- of both human and furry children!

I don't think Pimp and Moo got me anything for Mother's Day today, but I'm sure they'll each cook up a nice gift in the litter box later at least...

I'm going out to dinner later today with my mom and grandmom and the family, so we're doing the human Mother's Day, too. I might be a little biased, but I think I have the best mom!

LAST MINUTE TRANSPORT NEEDS!

We have a momma kitty that we need to get up to Forever Home Feline Ranch in Springfield, IL next weekend. She is one of the hoarder kitties we brought back down from Tampa, and we had no idea she was pregnant until she go here. She was supposed to have been spayed up there... but clearly she wasn't. Argh. Bad hoarder!

Luckily, our good friends at Forever Home Feline Ranch said they would take her in preggers and give both her and her babies the chance they deserve. Thing is, we need to get her up there ASAP. Our vet thinks she is not going to pop just yet, but it could be soon, so we want to get her up there next weekend.
